As we are in the dregs of winter and a frigid deep freeze, I was most excited to see the sun yesterday for the first time in a long time. I ran and got my camera and this is what I saw through our window.

What a beautiful shot of your icicles! They aren't really that easy to capture.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shot, Mary Lou - the trees in the background add interest to the icicles, very nice picture!
ReplyDeleteNice and Cold
ReplyDeleteBrrr!
ReplyDeleteJust a warning, don't clean the window with warm water, just yet.
ReplyDeleteI am happy to say that in nearly 60 years I have NEVER seen icicles like that with my own eyes and I don't want to Yikes
I second Ron! Brrrrrrrrr!!
ReplyDeleteNice ice! (Except you are probably VERY tired of growing them?)
ReplyDeleteNice shot. And I second the comment about the skeletal trees adding interest.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely shot, ice seems tricky to shoot to me, easy to blow it out. Thirding the comment on the trees too,
ReplyDeleteThis is a great shot! Good detail of the icicles (which can easily wash out) and I like the contrast of the trees in the background.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this shot! I'm hoping to be able to get some icicle shots but this is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot. It got an extra interesting texture with the trees in the background. Love the light.
ReplyDeleteNice shot - and yes, I know those moments of "it's the sun, quick, catch it!" Makes my whole day :)
