This fire alarm has a fire alarm annunciator immediately to the left of it. A fire alarm annunciator is a control panel that helps monitor and control all elements of the fire alarm system from a central station. If the alarm system fails it can pinpoint where the malfunction is. When the alarm goes off, the annunciator can tell you where the fire started and what caused it.
