I am still getting used to my new macro lens and trying it out on different subjects. This particular subject is very special to me. These are tissue paper flowers that my grandaughter (with the help of mommy) made for the centerpieces for my birthday party. I have never used backlighting before so this photograph is really an experiment!!

You call them flowers but we know its all a tissue of lies, anything to get a great unique shot. Well done.
ReplyDeleteIt is nice that you start with such an important subject. Good for your first experiment. Nice subject and great colors.
ReplyDeleteAnd a nicely done experiment it is! The light really highlights the softness of the tissue colors.
ReplyDeleteLove how the backlight brings out all of the soft colors in the tissue paper! Really pretty!
ReplyDeleteThe artistic efforts of BOTH of you really worked out - your backlight shot, and your granddaughter's flower-making skills.
