
I happened upon this store and it was fabulous. Ten Thousand Villages is staffed by volunteers and is a not-for-profit, fair trade store. They have locations across the United States and in Canada.There are thousands of handmade goods crafted by artesians from all over the world. In the next couple of days you will see some of the amazing crafts from this unique store.
This was a difficult shot to take as the sidewalk was very uneven. As you can see there is nothing very straight in this shot. While I tried to straighten a portion of the photo another portion became out of alignment. Therefore, this shot is SOOC.

ReplyDeleteThese stores are wonderful. The Mennonite Church which runs them also does festival sales in the community. My daughter volunteered at one last year.

Great photo!! My wife is the new manager for the Ten Thousand Villages store in Princeton, NJ. I've been learning a bit about them and it is an amazing organization.
