Inside this restaurant is some very delicious food!! We have been going here for many years. It isn't very big and is always crowded. I asked the owner how he came upon the name "Cross~Rhodes" and he replied with a big smile "Cross is because we are near a crossroad and have a cross between Greek and American food and Rhodes is for the island in Greece". If you are ever in Evanston, Illinois this is the place to eat!!

ReplyDeleteRecommendations and food aside, the photo itself is great! Nice composition and colors. I like the faded sections of the panes where their name is printed. The brick adds a touch of familiarity, which gives it a comfortable feeling. the building itself has a patina on the woodwork, which also lends to the comfortable feeling, thus inviting. And what can get more inviting than good food!
