Did you know that the Daddy Long Legs has the most toxic of Venoms among spiders, but it's fangs are so small they can't penetrate the Epidermus, so we are safe from them.
You know, I don't think I have seen any of those yet this year, how unusual! Thanks for reminding me what those long legs look like, yech!! LOL Fabulous capture!
Thats a great shot of the longleg! Im not a fan either and I had no idea they were toxic! Luckily not for us as i usually picks it up end leave it outside when found inside

ReplyDeleteYou got a good shot of all those legs....They are really bent. I really like all of the different tones of green and the blur in the background.

ReplyDeleteGreat shot! Did you shoot it in Auto, or give Aperture mode a whirl?
ReplyDeleteWonderful shot of the spider. He was always one of my favorites as long as he was outside.
ReplyDeleteI'm not too much of a fan either but your photo is exquisite. Love the details & color & that gorgeous bokeh!
ReplyDeleteLeave it to Ron to know some trivia like that! This shot is a good choice for the theme - almost like the spider has knees to bend like that.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot!
ReplyDelete(but they are a little scary with those long legs..)
