Joe said they are cute when they aren't being destructive. And that is true. We have an old old rocker on our porch. Last winter, I was astonished to see (as I pulled the shades in the morning) one of then nibbling on the handles of the rocker. Over the next few weeks, they had nibbled a goodly amount off. Looking for something salty, I expect. Then, DH keeps fussing that one has gotten into the garage work area in the attic. He hears them chewing on his stash of wood, has seen their vanishing tails, but never been able to get rid of them.
Iona - I had a cement cactus on my back deck (memento from a trip to Mexico). Squirrels chewed off all the green paint. Spray painted it green again. A year later - back to cement color. No wonder my squirrels run around like lunatics!
Hi Mary Lou, is it just me or is your Clouds shot set for 'no comments'? I can't see the comment link. Anyway, it's a FANTASTIC shot. And I know what you mean about seeing things to photograph when it's impossible to pull over on the highway. Very frustrating!
