On the way home from the Botanic Gardens while stopped at a light, I looked out my window and this is what I saw. I have never seen clouds like this before or should I say before this challenge!! (45 of 365)
Is there any possibility this is the trail of an aircraft that passed by earlier? hard to say from the photo..it would have continued far off into the distance perhaps? Planes sometimes leave tails like this when it is very cold. Very cool.TFS Sue
So you had your camera on your lap, driving 75 mph, look out the window ,quickly roll the window down, grab the camera, navigate the wheel with your two knees, take a few shots, avoid somehow not getting in a serious accident, and you told your better half that you were stopped at a light. Now that belongs in the you know that you are a blogger forum when..... That said, Great shot. At first I thought it was a large ocean wave starting to roll over.
What at great shot! You were lucky that you have to stop at the light. :) Yes, it's like a whole new world opened up since I started with the photo challenges. You see the world with new eyes. :)

This is a great cloud formation and a good picture. Lucky catch.
ReplyDeleteNeat clouds. Makes me think of some sort of deep sea shrimp.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot of odd clouds, either a shrimp or maybe a jellyfish.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great shot of a very interesting cloud formation. I don't think I've seen them look quite like that.
ReplyDeleteThe sky is falling, The sky is falling, The sky is falling, just thought you would like to know a Little Birdy told me.
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful wispy lines! I hope you remembered to thank mother nature!
ReplyDeleteWow, I have never seen anything like this either! Reminds me of Chicken Little!! :)

I've watched a lot of clouds but that is something else. Reminds me of a jellyfish.

ReplyDeleteLove those clouds. Very unusual.

I thought it was a wave roller at first. Optical Illusion! Great image. Most unusual cloud formation.

Wow! Great timing to get a shot like that! I carry a cloud identification book in my car...I'll have to see if your cloud is in it.
ReplyDeleteWow! Fascinating formation. Aren't clouds amazing?
ReplyDeleteUnusual clouds - they look like jellyfish or some exotic waterplant with trailing tendrils. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteReally cool clouds. Great capture!
