This unrepaired hole in the street in downtown Chicago is obviously very dangerous. Although it appears black in this photograph,there is another street level underneath and you can see all the way down to it.

Scary - but beautiful too - I'm a sucker for rusty shots and this looks great with the rusty bits against the concrete and black void.

ReplyDeleteBobbie, it wasn't as big as it appears in the photo. Maybe 16-18" long. I straddled it and bent over to take the shot. Ahh...what we won't do to get a photograph!!

ReplyDeleteHope I don't hear anything on the news about rush-hour Chicago traffic getting consumed by a giant sinkhole. ;-) Weird that they wouldn't get out there and repair that right away.

ReplyDeleteDangerous indeed! Who is responsible? Someone should repair the hole before it becomes bigger. I just talked to CNN and CBS so now the hole will be fixed. Haha! Could not help my self, sorry! ;)
