201 Not Your Mother Tongue

This is our last stop in this fascinating store. These planters were absolutely gorgeous, smooth and very well made. They are called "Story Pots", are hand inscribed and made in Bangladesh. The stories they depict are of planting rice, and the blessings and perils of the monsoon.

I would like to extend a special thanks to the salespeople at Ten Thousand Villages for allowing me to photograph all of these interesting items and for their excitement and patience in explaining each item to me.
