318 Tent

When I grill fish I like to tent it. Inside is a filet of whitefish marinated with soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, and a little mustard. On the top of the filet I put some fresh basil and some lemon slices. After I put it on the grill I realized that the tent looked like a fish!!

  2. It does look like a fish! When I first saw this on the grill, and the tent theme, I was worried you were grilling it in your tent...

  3. Sorry, don't like this one, every time I smell fish I want to throw up LOL! Not a sea food person! Now if you told me there was chicken in there, then I would have loved it! LOL Hey, I spent the day making my pvc light box - thanks for the instructions - I will play w/ it this week!

  4. That is a very old method, because an aboriginal in the Kimberleys Western Australia, once should me a method for cooking fish from the Dreamtime (Traditional Aboriginal Folklaw) that involve taking a mullet and not doing anythiong to it other than wrapping it in a clay based mud solution til was covered about a quarter inch all round. he then threw that package on a fire that had burned down to glowing embers and left it for about half an hour. When he pulled it out the skin and eyes stayed with the baked mud and the gullet had shrivelled into a black ball all of which he crumbled and returned to the fire, and we ate nothing but succulent sweet juicy fish. Same deal I think.

  7. I have thumbnails on my blog of some of the blogs I follow. In the thumbnail, the photo looked like a rock, but the title was tent. I couldn't wait to find out how that rock was a tent.

  9. What a unique & abstract interpretation! I make fish the same way..either in the oven or on the grill. Yummy! Neat photo and great processing.
