Look carefully at the center of this photograph and you will see two tulips beginning to grow at the line of the front stoop. Since these bulbs were not planted anywhere near there...who put them there? Chippy and his chipmunk friends have been very busy digging up bulbs and replanting them where they like!!

After the winter we've had, tulips ANYWHERE would be a welcome sight! Good eye!
ReplyDeleteI hadn't thought about the squirrels doing that! Maybe with this Arctic front moving through they should do some more bulb planting to ensure something for next year. Good job!
ReplyDeletehow did you ever see them keep us posted on their progress.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it interesting how the critters like landscaping? I have a whole raspberry bed outside my window that was planted by the critters--I keep planning to pull it up and replace it with flowers, but the raspberries are so good!
ReplyDeleteGood eye to spot the little tulips! Looking forward to a picture of them in bloom.
It was the "tulip fairy" - she sprinkles tulips for all of those who were good over the winter and have spring fever bad! I wish she would visit my house! Wonderful find, can hardly wait to see the blooms!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot. I love the selective coloring. Don't you love how Mother Nature spreads things around?
ReplyDeleteFun shot, for rodents they've done well.
ReplyDeleteNice composition and a good choice for the theme.
ReplyDeletewhat an awesome thing to discover, i wish my squirrels would plant flowers for me! :)
ReplyDeleteDoesn't that make you happy though? Flowers seem to grow in the most unusually places just to add a little beauty to our world.
