219 Out West

On our Sunday outing we passed by a tavern and this neon sign was hanging in the window. Now you might ask why this sign for this theme...I live in Illinois and this beer is brewed out west at the New Belgium Brewing Company in Fort Collins, CO.

  1. Great idea for the theme. I am not a beer drinker and I have never heard of Fat Tire beer. That is for the fat tire on mountain bikes I suppose.

  2. I know beer can give you a spare tire, but the nuance of this one is a tad beyond the ken of this Good Ol Southern (Hemisphere) Boy. And let's face it if one country is BEER Country it is Australia. Please Explain.

  4. That will go down as one of the most clever "Out West" interpretations. I've never heard of Fat Tire either but it certainly is a unique name. Nice capture of the neon - pretty colors!

  6. It's wonderful beer! And a really cool shot not to mention take on the theme. From the label I think they mean old time balloon tires. ( I was thinking of this same sign for 'beverage of choice' theme.)
