These baby Herons are getting ready for moving day. They are about a week away from being able to fly. It was very interesting to watch them flap their wings while learning how to fly.
Unfortunately we were very far away and my 70-300mm lens couldn't get me as close as I would have liked. This photograph has been processed a lot to bring back some color and clarity. It has also been cropped a lot so that the birds were visible.

ReplyDeleteThey are so cute - look how akward their wings look like they are moving! Nice catch!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot. and you're using a good camera/lens to be able to crop tight.
