If you can believe it, today's temperature reached 54 degrees F and the sun was out!! It was the perfect day for an outing to the Chicago Botanic Gardens. The orchids are in the Tropical Greenhouse where they are shown just as they grow in the wild, often,but not always, nestled in the tree branches. This pair of orchids was just waiting for me!!
Postprocessing consisted of adding a vignette and the frame.

ReplyDeleteLove the colors. Like two peas in a pod. As of this moment, at a few minutes before 1:00 a.m., we have 60 degrees outside. Considering we have just gone through that awful ice storm. this is a real switch!
